Original Title: paint

I'd like to change the resolution of the paint images. The default resolution of a bitmap image is 96 dpi (you can see it, clicking the "Paint" button and then "properties). Could it be possible by any chance to change the resolution f.ex to 180 dpi or 300 dpi? I'd like to

    ======================================

The freeware IrfanView can easily change DPI.

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System

Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Download IrfanView

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/irfanview.html

    (filename  :  iview435_setup.exe)

(uncheck the box if you do not want Google Chrome)

    Get the plug-ins too...

    IrfanView Plug-ins

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/irfanview_plugins.html

    (filename  :  irfanview_plugins_435_setup.exe)

Just open a photo in the program and go to...

    Image - Resize/Resample...or type...Ctrl+R.

Enter the DPI you require in the DPI field and

    left click the OK button.

    Now...go to...File / Save As...or type...S...

Choose a Save In location...enter a new name

for your edited version of the photo and choose

a different format if you wish.

For best quality...drag the Save Quality slider

    to 100%.

    Left click the Save button.
