    Hi BillalFarooq,

    1. What is the make and model of your keyboard?
    2. Are you using a wired or wireless keyboard?
    3. Is the issue occurs only when you are trying to type on any particular program?
    4. Have you made any recent software or hardware changes on the system?

This may happen due to any recent changes on the system that might have changed the keyboard settings.

Let’s try the following step and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Let’s try connecting a different USB keyboard and check for the issue.

    Step 2:

You may check on the keyboard if the Fn key (Function Key) is enabled. If it is enabled, try to toggle the Fn key to disable it.

    Method 2:

If ‘Method 1’ doesn’t help, you may download and install the latest keyboard software from the device manufacturer website.

    Update drivers: recommended links

    Method 3:

If you are using a Microsoft Keyboard, you may also refer to the articles and check if it helps.

Troubleshoot wired keyboards that don't respond or that type wrong characters

Troubleshoot response failures in wireless keyboard or mouse

    Hope the information helps.

like BillalFarooq I have the same with my keyboard.

I use Lenovo G710 notebook and my operating system is Windows 8.1

    my keyboard is typing a1 s2 d3 f4 j7 k8 l9

and also my numped is typing 0=01, 2=52 too.

Now, I am writing with usb connected keyboard and my notebook's keyboard is still typing a1s2d3f4j7k8l9.

And I download and run the latest driver of my keyboard the problem hasn't solved yet.

    What can I do?

    Thanks.

I have an HP Pavillion DV7 notebook PC and today the home row started typing the letter and the number together eg. a1s2d3f4... and the numbers are doing the same thing: +0 .6. I've tried uninstalling the keyboard sticky keys...... all that I could found on the internet I tried and I can't fix it. Do you have any other ideas? I am typing with a wireless keyboard. Please help.

    Hi,

I have the same problem. What ended up working out? I've tried uninstalling the driver as well as playing with settings of my toggle and sticky keys.
