memory card reader won't read memory stick pro duo

I  have a Lenovo Ideacenter all in one computer with a memory stick reader that lists MS/MSPRO/MMC SD/SDHC/SDXC card compatibility bt I can't get it to accept my Memory Stick Pro Duo  to download my pictures.  Is the Pro Duo stick different than the regular PRO or are adapters required?

    I don't know if it is your fix but there is an adapter available:

    Might be worth a try to connect the camera via USB cable.
