logitech quickcam 10 drivers for windows 8

I tried Logitech quickcam 10   webcam on my new windows 8 pc  but it would not load?   ive tried downloading drivers but no success??  come on windows  fix it please..

    From your issue description I understand that you are unable to load Logitech quick cam 10 on your Windows 8.

    Before we start troubleshooting on the issue please provide us with the additional information by answering few questions mentioned below, this will help us to troubleshoot better.

    1) What happens when you try to access camera? Do you receive any error message/code?

    1. What happens when you try to download the drivers?

    3) Are you unable to install drivers?

    4) Are you referring to Quick cam webcam or Quick cam software?

    I checked the compatibility center to find the drivers for Logitech Quick cam 10 but I could not find the device listed. Hence I would suggest you to refer to the following link and check if your device is listed in the list.

    If it is listed and the device is compatible I would recommend you to download the drivers for Windows 8 else download and install the drivers in Windows XP or Vista compatibility mode.

    Steps to Uninstall and Re-install drivers in Compatibility mode:

    To Uninstall:

    a) Press “Windows key” + “R” on the keyboard.

    b) Type “devmgmt.msc” in the “Run” Window.

    c) Search for the Camera device in the “Device Manager” window and then expand it.

    d) Right click on it and select “Uninstall” and follow the instructions on the screen to complete it.

    To Re-install in XP or Vista compatibility mode:

    a) Download the driver setup file and save it on your local disk..

    b) Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”

    c) Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    d) Make a check mark next to Run this program in “Compatibility mode” and select Windows XP from the drop down list.

    e) Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
