Hey guys I'm having trouble using my Bose bluetooth headset on my laptop. I'm using a Medialink bluetooth adapter to give my laptop bluetooth functionality and after that I try to pair my headset to the computer but it it keeps saying it can't find the device driver for the "Bluetooth Peripheral Device." I was able to use this headset up until recently when i had to reinstall the bluetooth software on my laptop and now that I'm trying to pair it again it can't find the drivers this time for some reason. I've contacted Bose customer support twice now and they don't have any drivers available to download.

Does anyone know where I can get the drivers for this headset to work? Any help is much appreciated I've spent a few hours googling and reading forums and I can't find an answer x_x

    Hi Jak,

To resolve this issue, you will need to install the device driver for your Bluetooth device. If the device came with a CD or DVD containing device drivers compatible with your version of Windows, insert that disk into the disk drive and follow the instructions to install the driver.

If your Bluetooth device did not come with a driver installation disk, you will need to go to the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest driver for your device. To do this, go to the hardware manufacturer and search on the latest version Bluetooth driver for your device.

Check the link mentioned below and see if it helps.

well the thing is Bose customer support has told me three times that they don't have the drivers it's something that windows should have...

I'm not too familiar with how it all works but even so, last time I installed this headset it worked fine and the drivers were automatically downloaded through the windows driver installer but for whatever reason it can't find the drivers this time.
