Does anyone know how to make Adobe PhotoDeluxe 3.1 run with windows 7?

If it absolutely will not, does anyone know a programme that is as easy to use and versatile?  I really like the lay out of the programme as well as the way the clone, and various tools work in this version of Adobe Photo Deluxe, as well as the lightening a selection, changing number of pixels, etc..  I have tried various other programmes and they are all too complex and tedious.

    Not sure if it can be installed in compatibility mode.
