When I go to the control panel and select "User Accounts" change your account picture, the above message comes up. When I click "Add or remove user accounts" the following comes up:  Windows cannot find 26ee0668-a00a-44d7-9371-beb064c98683}\9::{60632754-c523-4b6...\pageAdminTasks'. Also, nothing happens when I click "Change your Windows password".  I cannot think of anything I did to change the settings.  Help.

Click Start

Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD

Click 'Run as Administrator'

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

    Andre,

I followed your instructions - the Computer told me that there were "no violations." I also ran norton antivirus and ran a full system scan and came up empty. Any other suggestions on fixing this error?

I have this problem too and have followed the directions given. sfc /scannow fixed errors(all pertained to TTS, not pageAdminTasks) but the problem remains. I've run a full scan with McAfee Antivirus and it comes up clean. If sfc finds no errors with the system files pertaining to pageAdminTasks, the problem, as I see it, must reside with the registry. What do I need do to fix this problem? Are there any other problems that can cause this?
