I run the f5d7050v3 driver from the Belkin site as Microsoft says. It installs and does nothing. The system doesn't recognize it at all.  It worked fine on Windows 7 Pro.

I have Windows 8 Pro installed and I am using a Belkin F5D7051uk model network adapter which had caused me a lot of grief when trying to install. A yellow exclamation mark would keep appearing against it in Device Manager regardless of which driver versions I installed but in the end I managed to get it working by using unsigned drivers from the following link,

    http://download.modem-help.co.uk/mfcs-B/Belkin/F5D7051/Drivers/Version-1/Windows-Vista-64-bit/

You have to install the drivers under compatibility mode for Windows 7 (right-click setup.exe file and choose troubleshoot compatibility) and then turn off driver signing in Windows 8 to activate the drivers. This can be done by following the steps in the link below,

    http://www.technipages.com/windows-8-disable-device-driver-signing.html

When you log back in to Windows, navigate to C:\Program Files(x86)\Belkin\F5D7051\ and right-click on the bcmrndis64.inf file (there's also bcmrndis86.inf for 32-bit) and then choose 'Install'. Hopefully you'll get a message saying the installation was successful. If you then open up Device Manager the yellow exclamation against the Belkin adapter should have disappeared.

Please remember these are the exact steps I took to fix my issue under a 64-bit OS using a Belkin F5D7051uk network adapter but I am hoping they'll work for any model and OS type.

    Hope that helps :)
