DVB-T TV receiver dongle, IT9135 drivers problem

I have a mini DVB-T TV receiver dongle. I have loaded the drivers and installed the Blaze DTV 6 software. When I plug the dongle into my Win7 Home Prem, it says it can't find the drivers.

I have tried loading the drivers in safe mode and in full mode. Nothing I do can get it to accept the drivers.

I have loaded the drivers and program on another Win7 computer and it worked first time.

I have asked Blaze DTV support for help but got no response.

I wonder if there is a setting in Windows that flags not to retry a driver once its been flagged as not the right one.

It seems like I have the right driver but it won't work.

Help please anyone.

David

    Hello Fellow Victims

I have the curse of the do nothing TV stick with my Aspire 5740 but when I plug the stick into my older Dell Inspiron it works perfectly well – both machines are 64 bit Windows 7

Any advice or comment would be most welcome & I wonder how many sticks have deemed to be faulty as mine would have been if I had not installed it on the Dell first

I should also add that the devices come with a CD which includes a setup program with the driver. I have urn that countless times and also downloaded the IT9135 driver from the Blaze HDTV site.

If nothing, I am at least persistent.

    Hi David,

Try running the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and check if it helps in fixing the issue.

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly.

Refer this link to do the same:

**Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter**

Thanks for that suggestion. I have actually tried the troubleshooter before and get exactly the same result.

I should add that I have tried 2 more DVB-T sticks all with the IT9135 chipset and get the same result.

I have an older DVB-T with AF9015 chipset and the computer accepted this driver and worked normally.

    Thanks,

    David
