The issue could be caused if currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or corrupt.
I would really appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
- Did you check the issue by connecting Lexar jump drive S50 or generic jump drive to a different USB port?
- Are you able to use any other USB devices on your computer?
- Did you check the device getting recognized in device manager?
- What exactly happens when you connect the device to your computer? Do you receive any related error code or message?

Method 1:

It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly by following the steps in the link below.

Method 2:
****You may also check in device manager if the device is listed there.
a. Connect the device to the computer.
b. To open device manager, type devmgmt.msc in start search box and hit Enter.
c. Check if the device drive is listed.
d. In device manager, expand the device listed in the device list.
e. If the device is listed, right click on it and click Properties.
f. In General, under device status check for the message. Post back if there is any error message.
