Hi,
Code 19 means there is a driver conflict such as two devices trying to use the same resources.
Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange issues, especially if they load parts
of themselves at StartUp as they will compete for resources. This does not mean this issue
was caused by those however it is a possibility depending on which and how many you
have installed. Uninstall any 3rd party CD/DVD programs not needed or if suspected to be
part of the issue (not any of the ones included in Windows).
Use this - and you may need to use it again after trying the methods below.
What if a device isn't installed properly? (Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter)
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/what-device-isnt-installed-properly
Check with Lenovo Support, their on-line documentation and drivers, and ask in their
forums about any known issues. Check for updates to the BIOS, low level chipset drivers,
and the major on-board and separate device drivers.

After the above :
If needed check this -
From the Desktop either use WINKEY + X - Run - type in RegEdit
OR put the cursor in the lower left corner of the Desktop - Right Click - Run - type in
RegEdit.
Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Right Click on the key in the Left Pane - Export it so you can reverse in case of a mistake.
Save as Remove-Filters.reg (any name is ok with .reg as extension).
In the Right Pane look for any of these = UpperFilters - LowerFilters - UpperFilters.bak
- LowerFilters.bak
If any exist Right Click on them - Delete
There may not be any of those and if not this is not the fix.
Close RegEdit
Reboot
If you do not need the .reg file you saved then you can delete it.
Check with the System Maker's Support, their on-line documentation, and drivers. Check
for updates to the BIOS, low level chipset drivers, and the major on-board and separate
device drivers.

Do these to clear corruption and repair/replace damaged/missing system files.
From the DeskTop - WinKey + X - Command Prompt (Admin)
SFC /scannow
(space between C and / )
Then run run CheckDisk - chkdsk /r (the /r includes /f parameter checks)
WinKey + X - Command Prompt (Admin)
chkdsk /r
(space between k and / )
Or run CheckDisk from within Windows 8 :
Improve performance by optimizing your hard drive - see "To repair a drive"
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/improve-performance-optimizing-hard-drive
WinKey + X - Control Panel
Try this - Control Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click the device - Driver's
Tab - click Update Drivers (this will likely do nothing) - then RIGHT CLICK the drive -
UNINSTALL - REBOOT this will refresh the default driver stack

If needed :
Try doing a "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" (or changing your personal
settings) or even a Restore.
Windows 8 includes special methods to Refresh (keep files and settings) or a Reset
(new install removing all).
