    Thanks for contacting me.

1st Connect the Android to the PC/Laptop. (The USB will fail to install).

2nd Pull down the screen of the phone. This will reveal 3 menus: a) Connect as USB Device, b) Connect as Media Device and c) Connect as Charge only.

3rd Select the button for Connect as Media Device.

You should be able to use this to synchronise your device with the pc.

WARNING: Beware of downloading software onto your pc to resolve this as most of these are viruses and spywares. I know because I experienced it!!!!

Please let me know if it works for you.

    Good luck

    Hi Joe,

Code 43 error occurs when one of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner. To address your concern, we suggest that you run the Windows troubleshooter: Find and fix problems with devices and hardware. This will automatically diagnose and fix errors.

Feel free to update us on the result.

    Many thanks.

I've managed to connect using direction from vendor.

However, I must say that the Forum has become a breeding ground for propagating spyware/malware to unsuspecting members' gadgets. A link was suggested by a forum member, which came with positive feedbacks from users to resolve the same issues I was having. I downloaded and installed the link. A few hours later, while I was not even touching my android phone, and not even logged into facebbok on the phone, a message came through on the phone from a contact. I was on the PC then. I then saw my messages being manipulated, screens changed, settings being changed, other older messages being opened, and attempts being made to reply my messages. Scarry stuff, uh!!!

I quickly switched off the phone and took out the sim card. I've since contacted Google Play Store, spoken to my network provider.

So, warning to all Forum members, be careful what suggestions you follow on the Forum.

    Many thanks
