how do I get rid of this malware... None of the ms virus and malware works... pops up with every reboot as module.exe?

    googleads.g.doubleclick.net is not virus. That one is part of Google Ads...

    If you are getting any other pop ups please explain about it Like about module.exe.......

    thanks very much for the quick response... I get it's a google add app but it just suddenly appeared and is affecting all web browsers... how can I get rid of it... none of the windows anti virus and malware programs do the job.

    I can see that this is an issue for lots of users since the I-net is full of traffic re the problem

    solved... found the culprit as a folder named tem where lived the module.exe... deleted the folder and no more google ad popups... also added http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net to my restricted sites and the problem is solved... thanks for your help

    Would you mind providing some additional information about the "tem" folder?  Such as where is it -- a lot of us would like to get rid of this "not a virus / not malware" problem that acts like a virus / malware

    Just redirect the entire domain to localhost using your hosts file. Like this:

    127.0.0.1 googleads.g.doubleclick.net
