To troubleshoot Windows defender:
Method 1:
If you have any third party antivirus software and firewall disable them temporarily and make sure that the Windows Firewall is turned on. Then check if the issue reappears.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Disable antivirus software

Turn Windows Firewall on or off

Method 2:
- Open Run, and type in services.msc then press Enter.
- In Services window, locate Windows Defender service in the services list.
- Verify that the Status is Started. If the Status column is blank,
right click on the service and select Start.
4 If you get error trying to force start the Windows Defender service, try to change the Startup Type to Automatic, and then restart the computer.
To troubleshoot
You can also contact your Manufacturer in getting the right drivers for your Network Adapter or access the Manufacturer’s website to get the right driver for your Network Adapter.
Step1: Try the below steps to fix the issue you are experiencing with Microsoft isatap adapter:
- Click on Start, type Device Manager in the search box.
- In Device Manger, right-click the item of Microsoft ISATAP and select Uninstall.
- In Device Manager, click Action and select Add legacy hardware.
- Click next, and select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), click next.
- Select Network Adapters and click next.
- Select Microsoft in left panel and Microsoft ISATAP Adapter in the right panel.
- Click next and finish the remaining wizard.
Step 2:
The ISATAP is related to Internet Protocol 6.
Please check if IPv6 [Internet Protocol version] is enabled on your computer to obtain an IPv6 address.
