Bluetooth doesn't appear on the device manager

my bluetooth doesn't appear on the device manager but I turn it on through pressing Fn+F3.However, when I send files from or to my laptop it doesn't work. How do I fix it?please help me I've tried researching on how to solve it but it still doesn't work.

I have Acer Aspire One D270 Netbook. Windows 7 Ultimate

    I have Acer Aspire One D270 Netbook. Windows 7 Ultimate

    Turning it on via hardware (fn+F3) and having drivers installed for it inside the OS are two different things.

    When you enable Bluetooth, you should see it in Device Manager as a Bluetooth Radio.

    If you do not - get the drivers for your Bluetooth from the manufacturer of the system (Acer) or from the manufacturer of the Bluetooth chipset,

    Update/reinstall the Bluetooth drivers (and software).
