HP Officejet G55 Manual Driver Download

Anonymous
2013-04-08T01:53:18+00:00

I have an installation that uses a HP Officejet G55 and just upgraded to Windows 7.

They do NOT have an Internet connection available and thus cannot download the driver using Windows Update.

Farm country, with old phone lines, and in a cellular dead zone.

Is there a link I can get to manually download the driver so that I can burn it to a disk for them?

Thanks.

HP does not have a driver download for the G55 and Windows 7.

The driver link is to a document describing how to install the default Windows driver from Windows update.

    Note the description.

    "Driver-Product Installation Software(1)

Install the Driver Using Windows Update with a USB connection (Downloadable Driver Not Available)"

I did manage to figure out how to download the driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

It did take a bit to figure out which one of the 98 drivers listed were the files I needed.

    Hi,

Go to HP.com, and click on Support & drivers. When the next page opens, you can enter the name Officejet G55, and it'll take you to the download page. You'll need to know the OS & Bit depth (32 or 64) to select the correct driver. There will also be other software for that machine that you can download and burn for them.

Let me know how you fare.
