Google Chrome opening as an app

When I launch Google Chrome on my desktop, It opens as an app (Not a desktop app) So, to get to it, I have to hover in the top left (Like I would with Internet Explorer)

Any help would be appreciated as it's very annoying that I have to open a whole new window each time I wanna look at something, instead of simply minimizing the browser

You can change it by selecting the drop down menu at the right upper corner of the chrome window bar. The 3 black lines icon will let you relaunch as Desktop version.

Chrome has an immersive full screen browser like IE available on the Desktop. I dislike it too.

I don't get how I didn't see that; I've been looking in the browser settings, opened the browser choice app a few times, gone into default programmes...

    Anyway, Thank You...mlg36??

    Chrome added this feature.

According to Google Support, it's supposed to remember what mode you want when you switch it. See this article.
