    Hi Amrit,

Gibberish printing occurs when the printer cannot properly interpret the data stream reaching it and prints garbage text and random white space instead of the document expected. Causes for gibberish printing include: incorrect printer driver; corrupt printer driver; printer not receiving the start of the print job; loose or damaged cables; damaged printer port; incorrect page description language (PDL) setting; network errors.

    Try these steps:

    Step 1:

You may run the printer troubleshooter and check. To do this refer to the help link:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter

You may also try the following steps and check.

    Step 2:

You may try to update the latest version of printer drivers and check if it helps:

    1. To open the print queue, double-click the printer that you're using. Cancel all the print jobs.

    Step 4:

Uninstall and reinstall printerTo uninstall printer:

    1. Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start button , and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click the printer that you want to remove, click Remove device, and then click Yes.

If you can't delete the printer, right-click it again, click Run as administrator, click Remove device, and then click Yes. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Follow the steps in the below link to install printers:

Small blocks of text and glyphs on the 1st line and/or blank pages is almost always an incorrect driver such as the wrong PCL format.

I have tried everything and nothing works.  I can print correctly and then I walk into my office in the morning and I find the gibberish in the printer.  The only reason it stopped is the fact it ran out of paper.
