I use a laptop with windows 7 & explorer 9, I am trying to install a programme to windows 7.  I know I have installed correctly yet when I try to run it, I get nothing. It is an .apk file.

Upon reading further this programme only runs with windows vista, xp etc not 7. I have done the compatibility check but nothing, just say's 'this programme is incompatible'. How can I run this programme on 7? Don't get techincal, I am an average user.

This programme can also be used on Android mobiles, but I get the same....Nothing.

Can someone help please?? Please only those with REAL WORKING answers.

    Hi TaniaRhodes,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community!

From your issue description I understand that, you want to install .apk file.

Who is the manufacturer of the application?

On windows operating system, we can install the applications with .exe extension.

Get a .exe file and try to install it.
