Looking for Theme with Dark background in File Eplorer

Hi,

I've tried High Contrast and Windows themes from MS windows official site and third party ones but can't find what I want.

My question is does MS have windows 8 themes (not high contrast) with the file explorer background colour dark gray or close to it or in general a dark colour theme?

(anything other than that bright white)

All the one's on windows official site have the bright background colours..

If not are there any in the pipeline?

    Hi Nick,

    Refer to the following step and check if you can customize the color of File Explorer.

    a. Right click desktop, click personalize,

    b. Click **High Contrast #1,**click Color (This option is listed in the bottom of the same Window)

    c.     Click **Window background,**a new Color Window **** pops up

    d.    Under the basic colors: select the color that you want to see as the File Explorer.****Also customize the color using the box available on the right hand side of the same Window.

    e. After you choose the color, click Add to Custom Colors, click OK.

    f. Click **Apply,**click Save Changes.

    Note: You may also change the text, Button, Inactive Window colors.

    Hi Babu,

    Yes I have played around with high contrast but the theme/look is not as good as the normal themes.

    High contrast themes also don't work well with web page images and other stuff .

    I would like a to know if MS have a dark coloured theme but not in high contrast? like the ones they have on the site.

    I think since MS have taken the ability away for us to customise our theme like we used to then they should provide themes of all sorts for us to use.

    Again do MS have a dark coloured theme and if not will they put some on their site for us to use?
