    Hi,

This thread is too old to be responded too. I would have you create a new thread of your own if you face any issues with Windows to avoid confusion and get a better exposure.

Wow guys you so good to tell me mothing!

So can U read it again what is my problem?!

And tell me something what I don't know!

The mondem is detected some way, what is mean:

1st this modem recognised as a mass storage, (what is works fine)

than it's turning to a mondem, (that's what is not happening)

Any other coputer this mondem works fine, but my coputer don't want to have it.

Before XP I haed VISTA on my lapotop, than the same mondem was workin fine, so not my USB is wrong...

    Can U tell me something??

    THX

    Hi rtibi,

    1.     Check if the device is detected in device manager. Steps to follow:

    a.     Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

    b.     Search for the name of the device

You may even scan for hardware changes

    a.     ClickStart, and then click Run.

    b.     Typedevmgmt.msc, and then click OK. Device Manager Window opens.

    c.      In Device Manager, click your computer so that it is highlighted.

    d.     ClickAction, and then click Scan for hardware changes.

    e.     Restart the computer and check if the issue still persists.

    2.     You may run the fix it from the below link: Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows:http://support.microsoft.com/gp/hardware\_device\_problems
