    Hi,

It depends what you mean by 'editing a web page'.

There are programs such as Dreamweaver that are dedicated to creating and editing web pages, but there are addons for browsers such as Firefox for example known as Firebug that can edit HTML in your specific browser on-the-fly, etc.

    Patrick

There is no 'easy to use' free program which is compatible with FrontPage Anyversion.

You can get Expression 4 free these days but it is at the professional end of web design and creation..

It will load FrontPage generated stuff, but there is a definite learning curve associated with it..

    Hi,

I would have you use your favorite search engine to look for the same.

Note: Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk.

    Thanks.

I want to be able to cut or delete parts of a page. In my previous version of Microsoft Office XP there was a program I don't remember the name I think it was FrontPage. Now I have Office 2007.

What free program can I get to edit a web page?

    First, read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_editor

Note that you can use Notepad. If you want something more sophisticated, there are several choices. Here are ten: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-html-editor.htm

I've used none of those, but I've used Filezilla, and found it to be OK.
