    Hi BazzL,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community. I understand that you want to add a "Reverse" effect in Movie Maker. Please take note that this is not currently available in Movie Maker but if you think that this should be added, you may provide your comments and suggestions through our Feedbackpage.

    Let us know if you have other inquiries.

    Thank you.

    The older version of Movie Maker used to. This seems to be Microsoft's new policy, to strip all usefulness from their software so that only a skeletal carcass exists that is of no use to anyone. Why is Microsoft doing this?

    ======================================

    Unfortunately, Movie Maker does not have this option.

    Maybe the following freeware would be worth a try:

    (FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System

    Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Xander's Video Time Reversal

    (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)

    And...the following Movie Maker Forum may be worth a visit

    Hi Glenda A,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Even though I think it would be a good enhancement to Movie Maker I'll let someone else 'think of it' and make the suggestion.

    Thanks again

    Actually I'm pretty familiar with all the prior versions of Movie Maker and none of them have had the capability of reversing video. As noted before by Volunteer J, you can do it outside of Movie Maker with other utilities.
