Hello.
I have a HP laptop 6730s with vista business and SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD audio. When i pop up the soundMax audio settings,the "recording devices" section said "all audio devices are disabled". I have sound (music,skype etc...) but no microphone.... and in my sound settings in "recording" tab is "No audio devices are installed". I thought I didn't have a microphone on my computer but went buying one and still doesn't work. Can I get help?
Here's my problem. I went checking on internet about it and it tells me I have to download new soundmax drivers and download a driver update program and the driver update tells me I have to download a bunch of other updater thingies that has nothing to do with sound.

Try this:
In your Sound, Recording tab, right click on the box and click on "Show disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" to put a check before them. Enable the device (right click), then click on the "Set Default", "Apply" and "OK" buttons to exit.

My computer is slow and lagging, most of the time when I go on facebook the whole computer freez up for 10 to 15 seconds then the page comes on. The most problems I have on facebook is when I go on the games (the game loads all the way and before it starts,it closes and reloads again. Sometimes, just the game freez and I clic on "home" to leave the game and I go back to the game to continue playing). Now the problem is not just on Facebook, I use it as an example. I've searched on google and I want to know if a registry cleaner could help. some websites tells you it's good, some sites tells you it's a scam most registries are useless. I'm running on Windows Vista Business and I have Kaspersky Lab Internet Security 2013,and I have my computer run a defragment weekly. If I need a registry, I saw a couple of sites for this and one said the best is "RegClean Pro" and another said "RegZooka". Also is there a website that's "kosher" and reliable for softwares. There are SO MANY scams.
