Brother MFC-7340 - DRUM ERROR

Anonymous

I put a new cartridge into the drum of Brother Printer MFC-7340. As soon as I insert the drum into the printer, the message appears "Drum Error - see Troubleshooting and Routine Maintenance Chapter in User's Guide". This message appears irrespective of whether I put back the 'old/used' or 'new' cartridge into the drum and insert it into the printer ... it's always the same message and will not print!

The User's Guide does not seem to give an answer to this 'Drum Error'. I'd appreciate receiving an answer to this situation.

Thank you in advance!

Tony

If you have replaced the drum or not this will work:

Open the front cover > Hold down "Clear/Back" > Press "1"

    It will now be reset!
