Hi

My machine is a Dell Latitude E6320 and I am a Windows 7 user.

I have one unknown device showing in my device manager. I have tried to update the driver but windows does not recognize it as well as I am not able to uninstall / remove it.

Help please.

Thanks.

Try installing the ST Microelectronics Free Fall Sensor Driver from the following link:

    Thanks.

But this was the answer I received from DELL and has worked.

    Hi,

You may want to contact Dell support on the issue as did the original poster.

When I try to install it won't let me- it says that I have an incompatible version and to remove at the control panel.  Accelerometer and ST is not in my add/remove programs list.  I went through manually and removed any folders I saw with a name I recognized as affiliated with the FreeFall driver and still get the same thing when I try to reinstall.  Please help!
