Hi La-Tosha,
I appreciate the efforts which you have put to post the query on this forum.
If you are receiving an error message prompting that “DNS server is not responding, it could be an issue due to TCP/IP settings which may not be configured properly on the computer. It could also be due to any sort of malware or virus on the computer.
You can follow the methods to try and fix the issue:
Method 1:
Use the Ipconfig command-line tool to try and fix the issue.
Follow the steps:
a) Type “cmd” on the Start screen and select Command Prompt.
b) Type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
Check for the issue while browsing on Internet.
Method 2:
I would suggest you to run the Microsoft Security scanner as it could be a malware or virus.
The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software. This scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.
If the issue still persists, proceed with method 3.
Method 3:
I would suggest you to reset TCP/IP settings on the computer and check if it helps.
You can follow the steps:
a) Type “cmd” on the Start screen and select Command Prompt.
b) Right Click on Command Prompt and select “Run as an administrator”.
c) At the command prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
d) Restart the computer.
Please let us know about the status of this issue.
