Unable to install MUSTEK 1200 UB 32-bit drivers in Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

Original title: MUSTEK 1200 UB

The XP driver can be installed and will work in Win7 but only in the 32bit version; it is not recognised, cannot be installed and will not work in Win7 64bit - the scanner works perfectly for me on my laptop running Win7 32bit, but having tried several days, several variations of the 1200 scanner drivers and several claimed "workrounds", together with various other scan software, the scanner is not recognised and will not work on my Win7 64bit desktop.

    Hi John,

    Manufacturers of different devices, release drivers for both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems separately. The drivers for 32-bit operating systems cannot be installed on a 64-bit operating system.

    I suggest you to go to the scanner manufacturer’s website and download the drivers for 64-bit operating system.

    If there aren’t any drivers available for Windows 7, then I suggest you to download the ones for Windows XP or others and install them in compatibility mode for Windows 7. Please refer to this link:
