    Hi,

    1. Do you get an option to start the computer in safe mode?
    2. Do you have an XP installation CD?

Try to boot into safe mode and check if you can login to your computer.

    Refer this article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

If you are not able to start the computer in safe mode, then follow these steps:

    a. Restart the computer.

    b. When the computer is booting up, keep pressing F8 button.

    c. Select the option “disable automatic restart on system failure”.

    d. Check for the error message that you get while logging into your computer.

Post the error message here so that we can provide a resolution accordingly.
