How do I successfully install a Linksys USB600N adapter on my new Dell Inspiron computer with Windows 7 Home Premium OS?  I donwloaded & install a new driver, but could not successfully install the adapter.  A message posted on the Cisco/linksys web site stated that while the hardware and driver was compatible, the installation software might not be.  I think that this is the problem.  I need help, please...

    Hi MrNelson,

In Microsoft Compatibility Center HERE, Linksys WUSB600N is not listed as compatible with Windows 7, which indicates compatibility of your hardware component is unknown.

I’d suggest you to download latest version of drivers for your Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Network Adapter from the following link below.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/en-us/default.aspx

After downloading drivers, while installation if you get any error message; please refer to the link below describing in detail on how to install drivers for WUSB600N on Windows 7.

    http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=20873

By following the steps above, if you’re unable to install Linksys USB600N successfully on Windows 7 machine, please contact the manufacturer.

    Hope this information helped you.

    Regards
