Hi Toni,
- Do you get any error message/code when you try to update drivers and access Direct3d?
- What is the make and model of the computer?
By default Direct3D will be enabled in Windows 7.
To check Direct3D, follow these steps:
a. Open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. To do this click Start, type dxdiag in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
c. On the Display tab, under DirectX Features, verify Direct3D Acceleration are selected.
It will be shown as Enabled.
