Need driver for Canon EOS 20D Windows 7

Hi my Dad has given me his old Canon EOS 20D and my computer wont plug and play nicely. I've been on the Canon site and there is no driver for Windows 7, any help would be great. Cheers Chris

    Do you have a card reader on your computer?

    You can remove the memory card from your camera and insert it into a card reader to access your pictures. Check the camera manual for how to remove the memory card. More:

    In the camera menu, Switch communication to PTP instead of Normal. Will work fine. Bugs in Cannon EOS camera firmware/hardware do not properly handshake with generic MS windows drivers,

    Picture Transfer Protocol works without a computer, so in addition to your PC you could also send them directly to a printer for example.

    No driver is needed because there is no need to connect the camera. Simply buy an SD card reader someplace like Amazon. com; they are very inexpensive--under $2 US.

    In my view, using a card reader is easier than connecting the camera and better, because it doesn't use the camera's battery.
