How do I download Windows Media Player extension for Chrome?

Hi.  I would be grateful for some help.  I have MS Office Home and Student 2010 and am trying to download Windows Media Player, which the Radio France Internationale website tells me I need to listen to some of their output.  Support.google.com directs me to http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/wmp-extension-for-chrome, but when I get there my computer tells me I cannot download extensions from there because you now have to go to the Chrome Web Store to do so.  A search of that produces no Windows Media Player extension to download (or am I missing something?).  If I do click on the link at www.interoprabilitybridge.com, my computer cannot work out what to open it with, so I’m stuck that way too.  Any help gratefully received!  Many thanks.

    This answer did not help: it download CRX file, and then Chrome says that it can not download files from that site and quits. I tried it many times - never worked.

    Any other site which is trusted by Chrome?

    Or any other way to do it?

    Please help!

    Interoperabilitybridges site states the WMP extension for Chrome is no longer available.  This being the case, is there anywhere one can get said extension?  Does said extension exist anymore?
