    Hello Pankaj,

Please upload the error screenshot and paste it into your reply for better assistance to your issue. Meanwhile, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures. Now here you'll see user and guest pictures. Replace them with the image you want to fix as user account picture. Make sure you use the same format and size of those pictures. Reboot and your desired image will be set as user account picture.

P.S. : ProgramData folder is hidden by default.

[UPDATE] There is alternative solution for this problem:

Hi tried your way and successfully paste account image in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures, then I restarted my PC but again I did not get that image which I wanted. Here is the screen shots.

I really loved Windows 7, but after the upgrade to Windows 10 I'm thoroughly annoyed with Micro$oft.

They've made it difficult to use - not intuitive - and far too much control by Microsoft over MY COMPUTER.

I did eventually resolve this problem, but it was an hour wasted.

My next upgrade will be to Apple. I've had enough.
