Viahub3.sys PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA - drivers causing bluescreen, how to remove completely?
I have been getting blue screens while playing far cry 3 for the past few weeks, reinstalling the game and my graphics drivers did not help the issue. I ran WhoCrashed which is a program that analyses system dumps and it found that the problem was viahub3.sys. I realised that it is from the drivers of the via usb hub adapter that I installed this year as the dates information for it matches up.
After running the uninstaller there were still files left on my computer including the culprit viahub3.sys file. How do i completely delete the drivers from the C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\viahub3.inf_amd64_neutral_0ef5d1e2eb04e604 folder? and is it safe to simply delete these files manually?

2013-08-07T15:57:07+00:00 Hi,
The VIA VL800 is a single chip USB 3.0 Host controller, which enables a PCI Express equipped platform to interface with USB Super-Speed (5 Gbps), High-Speed (480 Mbps), Full-Speed (12 Mbps), and Low-Speed (1.5 Mbps) devices.
Did you check in control panelif there is anything listed related to VIA software?
