    Hi,

Have you tried the steps from the help article provided in the previous post?

Downloading Windows Media Player 12 is not possible as it is part of the Operating System.

Try disabling and enabling Windows Media Player from Windows features and check.

    1.       Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off.

If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2.       To turn Windows Media Player feature off, select the check box next to Media Features and uncheck Windows Media Player.  Click OK and restart the computer.

    3.       To turn Windows Media Player feature on, select the check box next to Media Features and check Windows Media Player.  Click OK and restart the computer.
