how to connect a bluetooth headphone to a windows 8 laptop it always show offline and the option""allow device to connect"" doesnt work

I cant use my Bluetooth headphone Byte DM5710BT with my laptop having windows 8.

The Bluetooth driver is up to date

I often use nokia x2 02 phone with the pc via Bluetooth.

and the head phone too is quite well cause it is work well with the other computer/phone etc.

the problem is pc dont notice the device. and in the printer and device section the headphone appear as offline. I reinstall the device so many times.

in the Bluetooth option in pc Allow a device to connect option is not optable

    4.      Since when are you facing the issue?

    We would try to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason behind the issue. We would also try to update the Bluetooth driver and check.

    Method 2:

    Check the status of the Bluetooth device in Device manager and Update it.


    Step 1:

    Follow these steps to check the status of Bluetooth device.

    a. Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.

    b. Search for Bluetooth and Right click on it.

    c. Select Properties and check the status of the device under General tab.

    Step 2:

    Follow these steps to update Bluetooth drivers.

    a.      Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.

    b.      Search for Bluetooth and expand it.

    c.        Right click on the Bluetooth drivers and select Update driver software.


    Method 3:

    Check if the Bluetooth service is enabled

    Follow these steps.

    a.      Press Windows key + Rand type services.msc.

    b.      Search for Bluetooth Support service.

    c.       Right click on the service and click on Enable.

    i have same problem i have byte dm5710bt bluetooth headset. i installed it in windows 8 but i can not connect  because it shows always offline

    This might be an issue with the Bluetooth head set drivers.

    Please answer these questions.

    1.      What happened when you try to install the drivers for the Bluetooth headset?

    2.      Do you get any error message?

    I would suggest you to try installing the drivers for the Bluetooth headset device. If you can’t install them, then follow the link for your reference as we don’t have any information regarding the compatibility of the device with Windows 8.

    1. yes , I option connect my Nokia Phone X2 02 via blue tooth.
