    Hi Steve,

Please answer a few questions, so that we can diagnose this issue correctly:

**1.**What is the model of the webcam?

**2.**Do you receive any error messages or codes?

It is possible that the webcam is not compatible with Windows 7. You could check that by entering the make and model of the webcam in the search field in the following link:

    Windows Compatibility Centerhttp://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/Home

If you find that the webcam isn’t compatible with Windows 7, then I would have you install the software and drivers incompatibility mode, by referring to the following link:

Make older programs run in this version of Windowshttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-windows

I hope this information is useful. Please get back to us with the status of the issue.
