How do I turn off the popup windows that occur when I point my mouse at something.This is very annoying,I know what I am pointing at I dont need a popup window to tell me.

Thank you for the update.
Let’s try the following steps and check if it helps.
a. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog, type regedit, and press Enter.
b. In registry, go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
c. In the right pane, double click/tap on ShowInfoTip to modify it.
d. Type 0 (number zero), click/tap on OK
e. Close registry and check if it helps.

Are you referring to the Popup in Windows Explorer or Mouse hover?
To disable the settings, let’s try the following steps and check if it helps.
- Go to Control Panel.
- Click on Ease of Access link or Ease of Access Center icon.
- Select Change how your mouse works or Make the mouse easier to use option.
- Tick the check box for Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse under “Make it easier to manage windows” section.
- Click OK or Apply, and hover your mouse on another window to activate it instantly.
- If yes, disable it. Uncheck the option.

Example-over this reply window there is report abuse and mark as answer,if I point my mouse arrow on it I get a popup or balloon message telling me what I already know.I hope this explains it better.
