Unable to install Delta Force 2

I,m having trouble getting window 7 to accept a game from disc   : DELTA FORCE 2 :  by novalogic any clues ???

    More information may be of help. Anything you think may be relevant.

    -Are there and error messages you can quote ?

    -Have you installed all the 'important' Windows Updates (there are several game related

    updates in the mix).

    Which version of Win 7,  32 or 64 bit  ?

    • The game was released in '99 and apparently uses Direct X so it should run on Win 7

    (with some coaxing).

    Assuming you have 64bit Win7, you would either have to find a new installer from a

    DELTA FORCE 2 fan site , install and run the game via a Virtual Machine, or install the game on a

    machine with 32 bit Win7 and copy the game from that machine to yours.

    If the game uses Hardware T&L lighting the game may also need a fix from a fan site to

    allow for more modern graphics processing to work with the game.

    This should not stop the game from installing, but would cause problems running the game.
