I am trying to download my Kodak Easy Share C195 to my PC which is now windows 8. I had no problems with windows  7, but now I cannot. I even went to Kodak's site but it just says no further downloads available, any suggestions on how to download to windows 8?

Tried the Kodak support website, but still nothing worked.  Anything else that I could possibly try?

I provided the link so you could read the information provided by Kodak, and was not showing you where to download this obsolete, discontinued software. I'm not sure why you would want to download discontinued software that is no longer supported by the vendor. If you had issues using it, even if you were to find a copy, there is no support for it. They also discontinued the Kodak Gallery.

You need to take this up with the vendor, but the only advice I can give you is to find other software.

Here is something you probably don't know -  Kodak exited the digital camera business completely in 2012, which is why the software is no longer available. I know that the camera you have has some kind of push button that works with their software to upload. But Kodak stopped supporting everything when they quit the business.

Your options are to find different software (and it won't work with Kodak's push button upload from the camera itself) or even think about moving up to a newer camera from a different manufacturer that has software and hardware support.

Maybe the following info will offer some ideas:

Just wondering...if you connect your camera via USB

or if you insert your memory card in it's slot on the PC...

and go to...Computer...can you find Devices With

Removable Storage?  Each slot on the Media Reader

should be recognized with a drive letter. Also look for

the camera....is it recognized with a drive letter?

    Examples:

    Removable Disk (E:)

    Removable Disk (F:)

    Removable Disk (G:)

One of those drive letters should represent the slot the

memory card is in or the camera if it is connected. If

you find either...you should be able to copy the photos

    from there.

Yes, the software has been discontinued for some time. http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/36670/selected/true

You can use built in Windows functions to perform the tasks done by the Kodak software (and there are tips on the page above), and there are lots of programs for photo editing, like Paint.Net http://www.getpaint.net/ (free) and others like Adobe Photoshop elements.
