Windows 7 Pro and Lotus 123R5/Lotus123 97 possible compatibility issues

Upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7Pro.  Downloaded 123R5 data.  Re-installed Lotus123 97 and Lotus 123R5 (w/service pack 3).  When data is retrieved using 123R5 it works fine.  When retrieved using 123 97 it converts spread sheet dates and numbers to a different number.  E.g. 2013 is converted to 1913.  I have Exhausted compatability solutions.  I'm not sure this is a Windows compatibility issue.  It may be a Lotus compatibility issue.   I'm considering uninstalling the 97 release. but would prefer to save it for a second PC if possible.  Any known fixes or insights appreciated as this software is no longer supported by IBM.

Lotus SmartSuite Millennium is compatible with Windows 7 according to IBM. That would suggest that earlier versions are not.. :-(

If it was working fine under Windows XP, then it is a compatibility issue.

Most older programs cannot work with Windows 7, especially some programs for Windows XP, possible that you might need to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate if you are not running either edition and download the free Windows XP Mode program which will allow you run older programs:

    Running Windows XP Mode requires:

    1. Windows 7 - Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise (Not supported in Home Premium).
