Driver for HP Laserjet 1000 printer.

I have a HP Laserjet 1000 printer. HP no longer supports this product and it doesn't print with Windows 7 (64 bits). I've downloaded the driver HP Universal Printing PS and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

It appears that HP does not support this printer for Windows 7.
