New software update for Nokia 206: v. 4.53

Hey,

We have started rolling out a new software update for Nokia 206 (RM-873) v. 4.53. This is a minor update and currently available via OTA to certain European operator variants such as T-Mobile Czech, T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Slovakia, Tele2 Slovakia,Tele2 Hungary and Cosmote Greece.

Key changes compared to previous 4.51 SW version include:

  • Audio quality improvements.
  • Fix for a pre-configured Gmail account not receiving incoming emails.
  • General performance & usability improvements.

Note: Nokia 206 does not support SW updates via Nokia Suite, only via Wirelessly Over-The-Air (OTA). Find the update instructions from here: www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/asha-software-update.

    even I tried to update my Nokia 206 dual SIM phone but there was no new update available.

    this is basically due to fact that firmware update takes time to reach each and every eligible user.
