Please tell us what "my computer wont let me" means. Exactly how are you trying? What happens when you try? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

And is the problem that you can't download pps files, or that you can't open them after they've been downloaded?

What is the error message you receiveĀ  when you try to download? Have you try saving to another location on your hard disk?

Have you tried disabling your Antivirus utility temporarily and try saving the files again?

Also, try saving using another user account.

If Microsoft PowerPoint is not installed on your PC, then download and install the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.
