I cannot get my Samsung audio device to pair using bluetooth

The first time I paired this worked perfectly. Then I moved the speaker (unplugged and plugged in) and I cannot get it to pair. I believe it is the laptop (windows) since my phone will pair.

Any suggestions?

    Hi Tina,

    1)       Were you able to fix this issue by installing the latest Bluetooth drivers available for the Samsung speaker?

    2)       If not, what exactly happened when you try to install the latest drivers for the speakers from the Samsung website?

If you still face any issue, please get back to us with the updates and additional information.

    1)       What is the make and model of your laptop computer? ASUS Notebook--Q501LABBI5T03

    2)       What is the exact model number of the Samsung Bluetooth device? DA-E670

    3)       What exactly happens when you try to pair the Samsung audio device with the laptop? Are you getting any error message? no error msg; it just does not find the device. The first time it clicked right away, but as I said, I unplugged to move device and then it would not pair on the 2nd round.

    4)       Are you able to pair the other Bluetooth devices with your Laptop? Yes-sort of-samsung headset pairs, however it shows offline and will not function for pc sound

    5)       What are the recent changes that you have made to the computer prior to this issue?none...laptop is just a week old

    6)       Do you have multiple Bluetooth devices connected to the laptop? Have only attempted headset and speaker via bluetooth; other devices are connected via network.

This issue could be due to the outdated drivers installed on the computer. This could also happen if you have multiple Bluetooth devices connected to the laptop. If you have multiple Bluetooth devices connected to your laptop, then try temporarily removing the devices that you are not troubleshooting with and connect only the Samsung Bluetooth speaker and check if you are able to connect/pair successfully. You may try the following methods and let’s know the results:

Method 1: Run the Hardware Troubleshooter I had already tried this...they sent me to you...

The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which checks the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues and provides the details on how to fix them. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

    a)       Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.

    b)       Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.

    c)       In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.

    d)        Click on “Hardware and Devices”.

    e)       Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.

    f)        Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Please check the result and you may also try the suggestions displayed on the troubleshooter and check if that helps.

Method 2: Why isn't Windows finding my device? I had already tried this..

You may also refer to the article: ***Why isn't Windows finding my device?***And try the troubleshooting steps given in it as according to the issue that you have.
