Hi,

Hope you people doing good. In my laptop had Windows 7 ultimate version 64bit installed recently.

My Laptop details are Acer Aspire E1-571; Intel corei3-2348M and display drivers are showing as vga drivers and monitor showing as pnp monitor. As before i got display drivers as Intel R HD Graphics 3000.

So please suggest me to update both drivers in order to increase the display quality of my Laptop.

Thanks in Advance.....)

    Hi,

Refer to the following link, this might help you.

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly#update-driver-hardware-isnt-working-properly=windows-7

You can refer to these steps to update monitor driver from the device manager.

    -          In Windows 7 and Vista, click Start , type Device Manager in the search box, and select Device Manager from the menu.

    -          If prompted with a User Account Control message, click Continue.

    -          In Windows XP, click Start, right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.

    -          Click the plus sign (+ ) next to Monitors, and then double-click the name for the monitor (Generic PnP Monitor or similar) .

Generic PnP Monitor listing in Device Manager

    -          Click the Driver tab, and then click the Update Driver button.

    -          Select Search automatically for updated driver software to have Windows search the computer and the Internet for the latest driver software.

    Hope this helps.
