Hi,
You cannot overclock with your motherboard, not even with software. It's blocked because it's an OEM motherboard and if you'd even attempt to overclock it, it would definitely damage the motherboard as it's not built whatsoever for going over its specifications. If you truly want to overclock, your best interest should definitely be to purchase newer-generation hardware and build your own system.
Second of all, for CPU overclocking, stick to the traditional BIOS method. Don't overclock with software such as the Asus Suite, or any software for that matter. OS to BIOS software is horribly buggy.
Some extra info, there is no 'quick' way to overclock a CPU and have it be stable. You have to set the clock speed, then adjust the voltages, go into the OS, and if it boots, well then your next step is to stress it as much as you can with various stress tests, benchmarks, etc, for as long as possible to determine whether or not it's 'stable' at your currently voltage. If it is, lower it one voltage notch and test OVER and OVER again until you find the point in which you can no longer go lower because you crash upon trying to either boot into the OS, etc.
I am a Forum Moderator on Overclock.net with more than 14k posts. I have partaken in various discussions, helped, and done my own overclocking for a long time now. It's not something that can be accomplished headache free, most of the time. It requires lots of patience.
The most important thing to remember is NOT EVERY CHIP IS THE SAME! If your friend gets his 2600k for example to 4.5 @ 1.27v and you can't, it's because he got a better chip than you. Simple as that.
