i have folder 1

and in folder 1 i have folders 2, 3, 4, 5.

in folder 2 i have a, b, c, d, ...

how do i delete folder 2 (but not its contents) and release a,b,c, d, into folder 1. so that when i open folder 1 i have 3,4,5, and a,b,c, d,

i know I can copy and paste and delete. I'm just wondering again if i can just pop the folder 2 bubble and let a,b,c,d, out into folder 1...

hands up who thinks a "pop this folder" tab is useful?

If you delete the parent folder you will also be deleting any child folders, this is the expected action.

You would have to move child folders to the new location before deleting the parent folder

    "Both hands up" here!

Wouldn't it be nice if M$ employees cared enough to say: "No, we don't have that feature yet, but what a good idea, I'll pass on the suggestion" instead of "...this is the expected action"?
