I have Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 that I used in my old computer running Windows XP.  I want to know if it will work in my new computer running Windows 7 32 bit.

Thanks Shenan, I checked the link you gave me and it appears as though Roxio Easy Media creator is not compatible with Windows 7, so I will not install it. The problem I have is I burned family pictures in a CD RW using my old computer and REMC 7.5 and when I try to open those pictures I get a message that I need Roxio UDF reader but I haven't found one that works with Windows 7

As I stated, "However, if it is being reported by peopled as being compatible with Windows 8/8.1, odds are it will work fine with Windows 7."  (It'd probably install, no guarantee on all the little parts.)

You need to close/finalize that CD-RW session.  Do you still have the old computer?   That would be the quick/easy way.

You could try installing it.  Make a System Restore point manually before you start.  Install the software.  Reboot.  See if it fixes your issue.  If it does: great.  If it does not: uninstall it and then use the System Restore point you made to go back to the system state right before you installed it!

Got Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate Edition?  Put Windows XP Mode (virtual machine) on there, install Roxio 7.5 that way and CLOSE/FINALIZE the CD-RWs.

Other options might be http://www.isobuster.com/download.php or http://www.cdroller.com/htm/download.html.  I don't think they are free, though.

Usually from the manufacturer of the product you wish to continue using (Roxio.)

As Mike Hall MVP has directed you to the Windows Compatibility Center page for the specific product you wanted to know about (Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5) but for Windows 8/8.1 and not Windows 7 - here is the page for Windows 7: No Info Check with software publisher.

However, if it is being reported by peopled as being compatible with Windows 8/8.1, odds are it will work fine with Windows 7.

According to info here, it is..

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductViewerWithDefaultFilters?TempOsid=Windows%208.1&Locale=en-us&Architecture=X64&TextSearch=Roxio%2BEasy%2BMedia%2BCreator%2B7.5&Type=Both&CurrentPage=0&TotalPages=1&ShowCriteria=0&SortCriteria=Relevance&Compatibility=Unknown&LastRequested=14

Mike that link says its compatible with Windows 8.1 but says nothing about windows 7. I don't want to assume backward compatibility unless it specifically says so.

The main problem I have is when I try to retrieve pictures burned using an old Roxio product I get a message that I need Roxio UDF Reader but I haven't found one that works with Windows 7
